A visualization of an insane trail run up and over many of the peaks of San Francisco.

Juicy details

I made this map as a going away gift for a friend who was moving from SF to Minneapolis. It uses his Strava data to visualize one of his very last runs in San Francisco. It wasn't until I got into the details of making this map that I realized what a truly insane run it was. My favorite detail of his run is the complete loop around the track in Kezar Stadium before heading off to scale the heights of Twin Peaks.
